To purchase the Prepaid plan, subscribers must:
i. Login to any participating Online Channels
ii. Select the Prepaid plans that you wish to subscribe
iii. Key in mobile number and make the necessary payment
iv. A confirmation SMS will be sent by U Mobile to you to confirm successful subscription.
Weekly Plan: GX12
Monthly Plan: GX30, UMI30, UMI36, UMI50, GT30, GX38
If you are already subscribed to an existing data or call plan, any purchase of a new Prepaid plan will override the existing data or call plan. Any unused quota or minutes will be forfeited.
Eg. Any unused quota and minutes for existing UMI 50 will be forfeited when UMI 30 is purchased. You will only be entitled to the allocated data and minutes of the latest UMI purchased.
2 scenarios here:
- If payment received yet verification failed, the bank will refund to customers’ bank account in 3 business days.
- In case at any point of time the subscription failed due to unforeseen circ*mstances, customer’s account will be auto-credited with the top up amount and is advised to subscribe manually via U Mobile’s mobile app, UMB 118 or SMS.
Online channel – only 1 step required which is purchase and subscription will be done automatically from backend
Other channels – 2 steps required which is purchase top up and subscribe to the plan manually by subscribers
Yes. You will receive an SMS notification on your subscription status. Alternatively, u may check via UMB 118 or U Mobile’s mobile app on the plan u purchased

- U Mobile Prepaid plans refer to the weekly and monthly prepaid plans (“Prepaid Plans”) which can now be subscribed via participating online channels. The online channels include online banking channels, mobile apps and e-wallet (“Online Channels”). The Prepaid plans and the participating Online Channels are as set out in U Mobile website [http://u.com.my/support/selfhelp/purchase-prepaid-plans-online]. U Mobile may from time to time at its discretion update the list of participating Online Channels.
- By subscribing to the Prepaid plans using the Online Channels, you agree to these terms of use and the terms and conditions applicable to each Prepaid plans including our Privacy Notice, all of which are available on https://www.u.com.my/tnc (collectively, the “Terms”).
- We reserve the right to modify or otherwise change these Terms including the charges without notice to you. The Terms may be updated at any time and changes become binding once posted to www.u.com.my.
- Eligibility
- Subscription of Prepaid plans via Online Channels is only open to the Malaysian subscribers only. Subscribers who are non-Malaysians can subscribe to the Prepaid plans via existing channels which are via UMB 118 or MyUMobile app.
- Online Subscription
- To purchase the Prepaid plan, subscribers must:
- Login to any participating Online Channels
- Select the Prepaid plans that you wish to subscribe
- Key in mobile number and make the necessary payment
- A confirmation SMS will be sent to you to confirm successful subscription.
- If you are already subscribed to an existing data or call plan, any purchase of a new Prepaid plan will override the existing data or call plan. Any unused quota or minutes will be forfeited.
- If you are subscribing a Prepaid plan for a third party, you are solely responsible to inform the third party that you are subscribing the Prepaid plan on behalf of him. U Mobile will not be responsible for any complaints made by the third party.
- We may suspend or deny the subscription via Online channel at any time, with or without notice for any reason whatsoever, including for breach of these Terms
- To purchase the Prepaid plan, subscribers must:
- General
- The Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. You agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from the Terms.
- If there is any conflict between these terms of use, the Prepaid plan terms and conditions and the Privacy Notice, the conflict will be resolved in the following descending order:
- the Prepaid plan terms and conditions;
- the Privacy Notice; and
- these terms of use.
- References to “us”, “our” or “we” mean U Mobile Sdn Bhd Registration No. 199101013657 (223969-U).
